Spyware has been compared to a nosy neighbor snooping around the block to find some gossip, however spyware has yet to gain the courtesy of a nosy neighbor because spyware fails to make itself known or ask for permission. Spyware gets into internet users’ computers without their knowledge while they surf the internet, open emails, click on ads and download freeware.
Avoiding it seems impossible at times, but there are tools that can remove current infections and help you avoid further spyware invasions.
A person with spyware on their computer has an individual or company monitoring and recording their every move online, including internet purchases, email messages, chats and more. The information spyware applications gather is done without your knowledge or permission so that companies can target you for advertisement purposes. Some forms of spyware are developed by individuals who enjoy seeing how far they can hack into someone’s computer.
Because spyware and hacker’s methods are constantly changing and evolving to be more stealth like, there is not one solution.
However, there are several solutions that can greatly reduce the threats of spyware. STOPzilla is a good spyware tool that has a pop up killer, active spyware blocker, active adware blocker, active cookie killer and an active hijack killer. A browser hijack occurs when your browser’s settings are changed without your authorization, including the start page, search
engine and your internet information is recorded and relayed to an intruder. STOPzilla can kill browser hijackers and it includes automatic updates to keep up with the changing spyware and hackware methods.

This article briefly reviews book”dracula” written by Bram Stoker
Victorian England makes a fine study of hypocrisy, a veritable Petri dish of civilized manners that are greatly at odds with the reality lurking underneath. I like to imagine proper British tea parties, London drawing rooms with well-corseted women and polite conversation . . . but the tea itself casts a dark shadow, brought to England in one of the most bizarre commercial moves ever conceived, forcing the Chinese to consume opium from northern India and precipitating the infamous Opium Wars in which England became a nation of drug pushers.
Sexually, we have a similar story. Victorian morality remains synonymous with a delicate refusal to allow for the existence of physical desire, but in fact, 19th century London had a huge population of prostitutes, “bad” girls paid to service the appetites of upstanding Victorian men so that the “good” girls might remain so sweet and pure. Frankly, it was a hard system to maintain - so much repression, so many lies - and there were occasional outbursts of chaos bubbling up from below the surface. Jack the Ripper comes to mind. The novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelly is a literary example, a monster to make a mess of any drawing room. And then, of course, there is the darkly sexual masterpiece, Dracula.
Published in 1897, Dracula still makes a fascinating read. Bram (Abraham) Stoker, the author, was born in Dublin, a friend of the more gifted writer, Oscar Wilde - oddly, as the preface to the Penguin edition of Dracula points out, both would write Gothic masterpieces in which the central character retains his youthful vitality by draining it out of others. Stoker was a Victorian moralist, a child of the Age of Certainty who believed in keeping all animal appetites firmly in check. But beneath his facade of civilization, there lurked a bog of sexual anxiety - fantasies of voluptuous lady vampires eager to suck the blood of fine gentlemen. And Count Dracula, the arch-fiend, who chooses only the purest Victorian girls for his unlawful desire.
You all know the story from the movies, beginning with Universal’s early 1931 talkie starring Bela Lugosi, and continuing with a 1950s Hammer Films version with Christopher Lee, spoofs such as Roman Polanksi’s “The Fearless Vampire Killers” in the 1960s, and most recently Francis Ford Coppola’s awkwardly titled Bram Stoker’s Dracula.
The novel, however, remains essential reading for anyone who likes noir thrillers and has the curiosity to wade through a soft porn postcard from Queen Victoria’s England. Bram Stoker is great at creating atmosphere, conjuring images of howling wolves in the snow and dark castles with locked doors guarding rooms we are advised very strongly not to enter. With Stoker as our guide, we enter the rooms anyway, unable to resist our fatal curiosity.
As for the “dreadful pleasure” of sucking blood, these scenes are positively irresistible - torn nightgowns, exposed throats, as sexual as one could go in polite society of the late 1800s. Bram Stoker did not invent vampires; the myth itself is very old, a hot fantasy from the cold lands of northern Europe that found expression in such legendary figures as Vlad the Impaler in the 15th century. But Stoker put the story together for modern times. He gave it a center, a plot, and a superb villain - a Count, no less, a noble creature gone bad.
A New York publisher told me recently that vampire stories are selling like hot cakes at the moment - and New York publishers, of course, know all about sucking blood. So continue at your own risk, gentle reader, and if you want to be thorough, you might just as well go to the source. Bram Stoker’s Dracula, for better or worse, is the grandfather of all nightmares.

Chile Completes Its Transition To Democracy by Brian McAfee
In two key decisions Chile has restored her democracy lost on September 11, 1973 when Gen. Augusto Pinochet overthrew democratically elected president Salvador Allende in a bloody Coupe supported by the United States.
On July 6, a Chilean court ruled 11 to 10 to remove Picnochet’s immunity he had granted himself when he became dictator in 1973. This opens the door to the families of those murdered and tortured by his regime to pursue legal action against him. There were more than 3,000 leftists murdered by the Pinochet regime and over 20,000 tortured.
In addition to the court decision the Chilean senate voted to remove several privileges Pinochet had granted himself and his military cohorts. Among those was Pinochet’s self proclaimed right to personally appoint 9 senators, 4 of whom were appointed by the military or police forces.
Full civilian control over the military has now been restored and the power of the president to sack any of the military commanders is now granted.
Chile’s current president, Richard Lagos, will end his term in December. The leading contender to replace him is a medical doctor, Mrs. Michelle Bachelet. She currently has a 47 percent lead in the multi party survey just done. Mrs. Bachelet is a socialist and is expected to continue the liberal social policies of the outgoing present Lagos.
Mrs. Bachelet lived in political exile during the Pinochet era and is highly respected and charismatic. If she is elected she will become Chile’s first woman president. Her main principles include social justice and equality.

Coaching is a type of therapy that has become increasingly popular over the last nine years. The term success coaching first became accepted in the United States of America where, together with Neuro Linguistic Programming, it became part of a new and improved outstanding wave of truly proactive therapy modalities.
In many ways both Success Coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming are a reaction against certain aspects of the Humanistic movement, in particular Human-Centred Counselling. A criticism of the human-centred approach is that it is exceedingly reactive and not decidedly proactive. Although all that works fantastic with some clients, with other clients long periods of no exit in sight or low return for time and effort occur. Lifestyle coaching and Neuro Linguistic Programming are both humanistic in stance, spending effort on improving a person?s well-being rather than jumping into the minefields of childhood, like traditional psychology. Life coachings emphasis is, however, deliberately proactive and resolve issues. Use Easily Achieve to gain success with a life coach.
Life coaching is not about preaching to the coaching client what to do. This is a common misconception. Some therapists are pretty successful in their business careers and then make the cross over to success coaching, assuming that they will merely be required to share their pearls of breathtaking success and wisdom with the customer. Sharing pearls of wisdom is more like mentoring an apprentice in a specific environment. Success coaching is instead about life as a holistic view.

In the words of a secret agent who has signed the Official Secrets Act in Britain we find the rationale for what government and supranational organizations have been involved in since Cleopatra, Christopher Marlowe and his own immediate predecessors Crowley and Ian Fleming. David Barrett tells us:
“Although the policies of ‘need-to-know’ and ‘compartmentalized knowledge’ can sometimes cause more trouble than they’re worth, there are very sensible reasons for them; there are many things which do require the highest levels of secrecy. If a careless word at an embassy cocktail party were to reveal how successful Britain was at intercepting and decrypting another country’s communications, a simple change of cypher equipment or cypher key generator could throwaway years of painstaking work at GCHQ. Another careless word could cause the life of a long-term, well-established British agent abroad to be threatened, or at the very to be bust open.
Lord George-Brown, a former Foreign Secretary (1966-68), raises a disturbing point about security, and the trustworthiness or otherwise of members of the security services and the Diplomatic Service - and, by extension, MPs and Ministers of State. If someone is under suspicion, he writes,
‘Inevitably, much of the evidence in such cases is hearsay or almost unprovable deduction, and one must reckon with the natural wish of colleagues to protect, as it were, a fellow-member of the club, especially when they don’t know, and can’t really be told, the full extent of the matter. This clearly happened in the case of Burgess and Maclean. (60)
MPs themselves are a club; very senior civil servants - ‘the Whitehall mandarins’ - are a club, members of MI5 and MI6 are a club; the British establishment, whether in public office or not, is a club. Most of these people also belong to various gentlemen’s clubs; some belong to that huge but secretive club, the Freemasons. Without casting any aspersions against any of these organizations, or their rules, regulations, restrictions, customs or obligations regarding ‘mutual support’ and ‘members in need’, it is not in the slightest surprising if individual members look out for the interests of each other, especially if they are friends and dinner and drinking companions. Over the years favours, large and small, are traded; when someone is potentially in trouble, fellow ‘club’ members are likely - rightly or wrongly - to help them out.
The sort of ‘corruption’ of which critics accuse Freemasonry is not the fault of Freemasonry any more than two members of any other club helping each other is the fault of that club. In most cases it’s questionable whether it’s even corruption. Really it’s simply human nature, for good and for bad. But those who spend their lives looking for evil, will find it everywhere.” (61)
That is another way of demeaning the quest for honesty - simply put it down to a ‘natural human act’ when the essence of cronyism is against the good of society or of questionable ethic. Reading Hegel and Machiavelli gives one great insight into how well our leaders use and train us to be just the kind of unethical people that will accept what they do in a big way. Thus we are accepting of it because we are used to doing the same kind of thing. If you don’t know your soul there is room to justify even incest and rape (especially in war). The dialectic or ‘playing both ends against the middle’ is so well refined that we could easily be convinced there really is no better way - given the nature of the human beast. Recently the coverage blackout on the Bilderbergs (started in the early 50s by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands as forwarded by the OSS - the nation not the religious land [nether-land].) was lifted and Katharine Graham’s control of the U.S. publishing interests seems to have diminished as a result. However, there are those who expect the ‘octopus’ or Medusa has grown a new arm or head. The Masonic Order does this every time they get a little too well known and whenever an organization has a certain number of members.
Thus we will see that they really are just important world leaders getting together and we will therefore reasonably expect that is all they ever were. Cecil Rhodes ‘Round Table’ even had a newsletter, and his Committee of 300 truly had all the best of the leaders. Who could suspect them of arranging wars (like the Boer War that A & E has recently laid at his feet) in order to sell armaments or finance new political regimes like Hitler and Stalin (Rothschilds money went to both). Today it may be the IMF or World Bank and the arbitrage that provides the insiders with all their productive output and interest earned. Who can say the rich really deserve all the tax breaks or national sweetheart deals and matching funds?
Cecil Rhodes is an outgrowth of a high Masonic club that was supposedly outlawed in Bavaria and we will touch on Adam Weisthaupt and his Illuminati some more. They were founded on May 1st of the same year the U.S. Declaration of Independence (the famous one, rather than the Mecklenburg one from North Carolina a year before) was instituted. May Day celebrations in Russia are held on that day for no other particular reason, are they? Wow! That is ‘heavy’ conspiracy talk, and I must be one of ‘those who spend their lives looking for evil’ as Barrett does say. But isn’t that the job of security people? And tell me who protects citizens and the average Joe?

Japan lit its candles of pure,”noble sadness” on the 60th anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The mayor of the late city, Iccho Itoh, criticized the USA for dropping the first atomic bomb in Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 and following that after 3 days by the second atomic bomb which attacked Nagasaki.
The two bombs harvested the lives of more than
242,437 people to end the Second World War by the surrender of Japan.
Iccho Itoh, urged the United States to stop the recent new nuclear policy and made an angry appeal for a global ban on nuclear weapons.
He made gestures towards the International peace by asking if the United States security has enhanced by maintaining 10,000 nuclear weapons, and carrying out repeated sub-critical nuclear tests and pursuing the development of new mini-nuclear weapons!
I thought what he tries to convey, is a deep part of the “Bushing” new administration policy, to force out the “New American Time”. This new American time plays the first role in the “New World Order” after the break-down of the Socialist System and the Eastern Block.
The deep sorrow and sadness of the American people which we share in other parts of this World, in regards to the September 11th horror, plays a mobilized factor to determine the future of peace on this Earth nowadays.
That’s what makes the mayor of Nagasaki’s words about the 9-11 attacks more understandable when he said and aimed particularly at Washington: “We understand your anger and anxiety over the memories of the horror of the 9-11 terrorist attacks.”
But this result leaves an urgent question in the collective memory of those who do love peace: Is Bush’s Second Term! A Chance for More Wars or A Stable Peace?
If the sour feelings of the invasion of Iraq is still sour, then the answer will never come to be predictably “optimistic”!
Not the political powers, but the people who should really stop the crisis.

The Anti-American sentiment prevalent in the world now, has fueled the arrogance of ignorance that some Americans feel free to label anyone who begs to differ with their unethical international policies: “Enemies of the Nation”;i
We always hear that love has no rules. This could be true when taking details in; but one logical rule is the law of love, namely: you love what you love. In plain English, you love what you admire, respect, what you look up to, what you care for, not what you loathe, despise, contempt or plain hate. You could love someone who wins you as an enemy. Our story with America was initially one of love and admiration; are you sure you want to make enemies of all your fans? America as we love it is the America of Washington, of Emerson, of Presley, of Monroe, of freedom, of the moon, of Hawthorne, of Oldsmobiles, of swimming pools, of casinos, of Jacklyn Kennedy and Oscar de La Renta, of Bergdorf Goodman and Linda Goodman. The America we can not love is that of Bush, Powel,Rumsfield, of bombs, of arrogant ignorance, of lies, or treachery, of greed, of cheap morals, of lack of conscientiousness, of double standards, of cowardice, of falsehood.
The America we love to love is that of Michael Moore, the voice of the true America that will not be silenced …Here is his message to you:
Dear friends,
It appears that the Bush administration will have succeeded in colonizing Iraq sometime in the next few days. This is a blunder of such magnitude — and we will pay for it for years to come. It was not worth the life of one single American kid in uniform, let alone the thousands of Iraqis who have died, and my condolences and prayers go out to all of them.
So, where are all those weapons of mass destruction that were the pretense for this war? Ha! There is so much to say about all this, but I will save it for later.
What I am most concerned about right now is that all of you — the majority of Americans who did not support this war in the first place — not go silent or be intimidated by what will be touted as some great military victory. Now, more than ever, the voices of peace and truth must be heard. I have received a lot of mail from people who are feeling a profound sense of despair and believe that their voices have been drowned out by the drums and bombs of false patriotism. Some are afraid of retaliation at work or at school or in their neighborhoods because they have been vocal proponents of peace. They have been told over and over that it is not “appropriate” to protest once the country is at war, and that your only duty now is to “support the troops.”
Can I share with you what it’s been like for me since I used my time on the Oscar stage two weeks ago to speak out against Bush and this war? I hope that, in reading what I’m about to tell you, you’ll feel a bit more emboldened to make your voice heard in whatever way or forum that is open to you.
When “Bowling for Columbine” was announced as the Oscar winner for Best Documentary at the Academy Awards, the audience rose to its feet. It was a great moment, one that I will always cherish. They were standing and cheering for a film that says we Americans are a uniquely violent people, using our massive stash of guns to kill each other and to use them against many countries around the world. They were applauding a film that shows George W. Bush using fictitious fears to frighten the public into giving him whatever he wants. And they were honoring a film that states the following: The first Gulf War was an attempt to reinstall the dictator of Kuwait; Saddam Hussein was armed with weapons from the United States; and the American government is responsible for the deaths of a half-million children in Iraq over the past decade through its sanctions and bombing. That was the movie they were cheering, that was the movie they voted for, and so I decided that is what I should ackno wledge in my speech.
And, thus, I said the following from the Oscar stage:
“On behalf of our producers Kathleen Glynn and Michael Donovan (from Canada), I would like to thank the Academy for this award. I have invited the other Documentary nominees on stage with me. They are here in solidarity because we like non-fiction. We like non-fiction because we live in fictitious times. We live in a time where fictitious election results give us a fictitious president. We are now fighting a war for fictitious reasons. Whether it’s the fiction of duct tape or the fictitious ‘Orange Alerts,’ we are against this war, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Bush, shame on you. And, whenever you’ve got the Pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, you’re time is up.”
Halfway through my remarks, some in the audience started to cheer. That immediately set off a group of people in the balcony who started to boo. Then those supporting my remarks started to shout down the booers. The L. A. Times reported that the director of the show started screaming at the orchestra “Music! Music!” in order to cut me off, so the band dutifully struck up a tune and my time was up. (For more on why I said what I said, you can read the op-ed I wrote for the L.A. Times, plus other reaction from around the country at my website www.michaelmoore.com)
The next day — and in the two weeks since — the right-wing pundits and radio shock jocks have been calling for my head. So, has all this ruckus hurt me? Have they succeeded in “silencing” me?
Well, take a look at my Oscar “backlash”:
— On the day after I criticized Bush and the war at the Academy Awards, attendance at “Bowling for Columbine” in theaters around the country went up 110% (source: Daily Variety/BoxOfficeMojo.com). The following weekend, the box office gross was up a whopping 73% (Variety). It is now the longest-running consecutive commercial release in America, 26 weeks in a row and still thriving. The number of theaters showing the film since the Oscars has INCREASED, and it has now bested the previous box office record for a documentary by nearly 300%.
— Yesterday (April 6), “Stupid White Men” shot back to #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. This is my book’s 50th week on the list, 8 of them at number one, and this marks its fourth return to the top position, something that virtually never happens.
— In the week after the Oscars, my website was getting 10-20 million hits A DAY (one day we even got more hits than the White House!). The mail has been overwhelmingly positive and supportive (and the hate mail has been hilarious!).
— In the two days following the Oscars, more people pre-ordered the video for “Bowling for Columbine” on Amazon.com than the video for the Oscar winner for Best Picture, “Chicago”.
— In the past week, I have obtained funding for my next documentary, and I have been offered a slot back on television to do an updated version of “TV Nation”/ “The Awful Truth.”
I tell you all of this because I want to counteract a message that is told to us all the time — that, if you take a chance to speak out politically, you will live to regret it. It will hurt you in some way, usually financially. You could lose your job. Others may not hire you. You will lose friends. And on and on and on.
Take the Dixie Chicks. I’m sure you’ve all heard by now that, because their lead singer mentioned how she was ashamed that Bush was from her home state of Texas, their record sales have “plummeted” and country stations are boycotting their music. The truth is that their sales are NOT down. This week, after all the attacks, their album is still at #1 on the Billboard country charts and, according to Entertainment Weekly, on the pop charts during all the brouhaha, they ROSE from #6 to #4. In the New York Times, Frank Rich reports that he tried to find a ticket to ANY of the Dixie Chicks’ upcoming concerts but he couldn’t because they were all sold out. (To read Rich’s column from yesterday’s Times, “Bowling for Kennebunkport,” go here: http://www.michaelmoore.com/articles/index.php?article=20030406-nytimes. He does a pretty good job of laying it all out and talks about my next film and the impact it could potentially have.) Their song, “Travelin’ Soldier” (a beautiful anti-war ballad) was the most requested song on the internet last week. They have not been hurt at all — but that is not what the media would have you believe. Why is that? Because there is nothing more important now than to keep the voices of dissent — and those who would dare to ask a question — SILENT. And what better way than to try and take a few well-known entertainers down with a pack of lies so that the average Joe or Jane gets the message loud and clear: “Wow, if they would do that to the Dixie Chicks or Michael Moore, what would they do to little ol’ me?” In other words, shut the f— up.
And that, my friends, is the real point of this film that I just got an Oscar for — how those in charge use FEAR to manipulate the public into doing whatever they are told.
Well, the good news — if there can be any good news this week — is that not only have neither I nor others been silenced, we have been joined by millions of Americans who think the same way we do. Don’t let the false patriots intimidate you by setting the agenda or the terms of the debate. Don’t be defeated by polls that show 70% of the public in favor of the war. Remember that these Americans being polled are the same Americans whose kids (or neighbor’s kids) have been sent over to Iraq. They are scared for the troops and they are being cowed into supporting a war they did not want — and they want even less to see their friends, family, and neighbors come home dead. Everyone supports the troops returning home alive and all of us need to reach out and let their families know that.
Unfortunately, Bush and Co. are not through yet. This invasion and conquest will encourage them to do it again elsewhere. The real purpose of this war was to say to the rest of the world, “Don’t Mess with Texas - If You Got What We Want, We’re Coming to Get It!” This is not the time for the majority of us who believe in a peaceful America to be quiet. Make your voices heard. Despite what they have pulled off, it is still our country.
Yours,
Michael Moore www.michaelmoore.com

I love my parents dearly. Throughout the years they have done tons of things to help my sisters and myself. Its hard to see them get older, primarily because it reminds myself that time marches on and I’m getting older myself. Oh well aging happens to everyone, you just need to live a good life and cherish those that love you. One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that my parents have really been taking care of themselves. They are on medicare these days and they seem to be taken care of by their health care providers very nicely. I just pray when the day comes I’m on medicare things will be as good then as they are now.
One of the hardest things when you get older are some of the associated memory problems. Aging can be both graceful and hard at the same time. When my mother started having the onset of Alzheimer’s it was a difficult time. It seemed that a lot of the time she lived in the past by constantly making present tense remarks about people that have long been dead. Its hard for me to even fathom that happening to me. Thank goodness she can live with me and my wife. Its difficult at times;however the thought of putting her in a home is not a possibility for me at this time.people

Why should we apologize for being America?
Capitol Reader Political Book Summaries writes in review of T.R. Reid’s book entitled, The United States of Europe: The New Superpower and the End of American Supremacy. “The rise of a united Europe is one of the great geopolitical events of our time. The nations of this diverse and once fractious continent are pulling together to create a common economic system, currency and social identity. The European Union now eclipses the United States in terms of population, economic output and it is the largest consumer market in the world. In short, the European Union is fast becoming a superpower capable of rivaling the United States on every measure, except militarily.
“The emergence of the European Union as a major global force has gone largely unnoticed by the American public. Most Americans do not realize, for instance, the sheer number of products and services they purchase which are made or controlled by European concerns. With America’s huge account and trade deficits, Europe is essentially lending America money to buy European products. This arrangement offers something for both sides, but America’s lack of fiscal responsibility is reflected in the rise of the euro versus the dollar. The euro is poised to replace the dollar as the world’s currency of choice. A unified Europe is becoming an economic powerhouse that is increasingly setting the rules of global commerce. The sooner America wakes us to this fact, the better for all concerned.”
America isn’t sleeping, she’s at war with the extremists that the European Union, save Britain, has refused to act against militarily. America could set back and count her money too if somebody else fought her battles and funded militaries, comparable to hers, which are capable of policing the whole world against terrorists. Pardon me for being pro Americaof course that’s what Europeans detest about me to begin withbut I must demur. America is not the bad guy, nor the school-yard bully. America is ordained and carrying out her world calling. Let me explain.
America was founded on the principle of freedom. Her early settlers were religious refugees seeking freedom from religious tyranny. They were willing to die for the liberties they were denied in Europe. Many of the brave and bold men, women and children died from exposure, disease, starvation, and even the hostile actions by the indigenous peoples. This desire for liberty, freedom, and non-governmental sponsorship of one religion over another is still in our blood. And America, as she has proven in the past and demonstrates today, will go to war anywhere in the world to uphold these precious principles. Without apologies I might add.
If the European Union thinks she can lecture America for being jingoistic or gun totting cowboys then she is guilty of the very patronizing she is using to shame us. The European Union can not denounce America for being war dogs and then itself refuse to acknowledge the immorality in her camp. The European Union has failed to denounce terrorist’s organizations in Lebanon. The European Union has refused to acknowledge that the United StatesBush administration particularlyhas had some good successes in Afghanistan and Iraq (free elections). The European Union has failed to act jointly against Iran’s nuclear threat. The European Union might have its euro and trade power, but it isn’t perfect either.
As a matter of fact let me predict where this is going. The European Union wants nothing more than what China or Russia wantto be the leading world power. To do that, she must eclipse the United States in the world spot light. Will this happen? Eventually the European Union will eclipse all nations. There is coming a restoration, a revival of the Roman Empire. In the last days in which we live currently, the nations of the world will move into positions to dominate the world in trade, prestige, religious and military might. The only missing link for this to happen in the European Union is a human leader that consolidates its power and leads it forward to world domination.
There is coming soon a world leader who will fill this tall order for the European Union. He will capitalize on Europe’s secular platformno semblances of God. He will unify trade, secularism, and militaries. He is called the Anti-Christ in the book of Revelation.
You might keep this in mind as the world continues to throw mind in the eyes of America. But America is not going away, nor will she cower under the pressures of her oppressors. Currently America is experiencing spiritual revival. God is revisiting His covenant which He made with her early fore-fathers of faith. He is blessing America one more time because she is humbling herself before God and calling out to Him. God said, “If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray…” (II Chron. 7:14). America wants more than what money and prestige alone can give. America wants God’s blessing on her. As long as she wants this and cries out for it, she will have it.
The European Union is playing into the hands of God whether she cares to admit this or not. She will serve God’s purpose either willingly or by His Sovereignty. And for that matter, every nation in the world belongs to Him and is created for His glory (Isa. 43:7). God watches over His footstool which according to the Psalmist is the world. If the nations of this world humble themselves before God, they will prosper. If the nations defy Himwell stick around and watch what happens. God will have the last word!
Keep the faith. Stay the course. Jesus rules over all. He is coming again one day soon. Get ready and stay ready.

As we reel from the news of the recent bombings in London, England, it is incumbent upon all of us to examine, seriously, why such attacks by Islamic Extremists are occurring. We cannot combat what we do not understand, let alone try to wage an
effective war against such an insidious enemy.
First of all, it must be pointed out that this terrorist war against the West is not simply the random acts of extremist thugs. Rather, we are dealing with a well-orchestrated jihad that has clearly defined purpose. The goal of the terrorists is
toward Islamic world domination through the annihilation of Israel, and eventually to dismantle all forms of governance who they perceive to be democratic or “Christian.” The strategy to reach this goal is not a recent phenomenon, but has been on-going for many years; and insidiousness in the form of gorilla attacks is one of their most effective tactics. ie. The terrorist attacks have been on-going in the Middle East since before Israel became a nation in 1948, and continue daily right up to the present by avowed Islamic organizations who desire to annihilate Israel from
the world map. If we have any hope to eliminate the terrorist threat, we must start with the terrorism being perpetrated against Israel, because the terrorist groups active in the Middle East are interconnected with what is transpiring world-wide.
“First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people” is not simply an extremist slogan, but is a strategy of war having two pincher-prongs, and we just witnessed one prong of this strategy in action yesterday in London.
Meanwhile, the other prong is being clamped on the world in the Middle and Far East, and Africa. But has anyone honestly been paying attention to the threats in the Middle East, and particularly in Israel, as recently as this week? Has anyone been
following the on-going diatribes by Islamic Imams in Iran, Syria, in Israel, and even in London? Has anyone taken note of the content of the Palestinian TV programs directed toward Arab youth, or the programs of the Palestinian summer camps set up
in honor of shahids? Has anyone taken note that at the same time, Christians are under constant Islamic threat, attack, and persecution in Indonesia, Pakistan, Iran, Darfur, Nigeria, and many other nations with a strong, large Islamic population,
while their leaders appear to decry such? These all appear to be disconnected events, but are they?
To understand, we need only read recent comments by the leaders of Hamas, Hizbullah, and Islamic Jihad, regarding their goals.
Unfortunately, this information is not available through our main-stream media in the West. Although it is easily found, our media dutifully chooses to ignore the sources, to the peril of all of us. It is time the politicians in the West, and the
general public, became informed. We need to set aside our “separation of religion and state” attitude in dealing with world problems, because the Islamic Jihad forces do not operate in such a mode! They have no qualms about harbouring animosity against those of other faiths. They are NOT in favour of multiculturalism and peaceful co-existence! The sooner we recognize this, the better, because our lofty democratic attitudes, although great on paper, fall apart when dealing with ideologies that do not embrace our politically-correct ideals. Our media is
influenced by our own idealism. And our understanding of our avowed enemies is severely hampered by the public lack of information. Our westernized view of the world from our insulated democratic towers can no longer provide security, but is
actually tying our hands, and endangering our citizens.
We are not dealing with a passing tempest in a teapot, nor with madmen. The forces behind the jihad are intelligent, and the planning and execution of their attacks is brilliant. Their motivation is unadulterated religious-political fervour. The sooner we understand this, the better!
Why is Palestinian leader Abbas accused of being weak by his rivals, yet is being courted by the West? Is he, in fact, weak? Or, is there a strategy of deception going on? Abbas has no intention of totally disarming the terrorists, even though he
states he is working on it, and has taken weapons from small pockets of his Arab population in a half-hearted show of compliance. Besides, do we really think he has the power to now ensure weapons stay out of the hands of the few he has already
supposedly disarmed? And, if he is able to disarm the few, why has he not taken steps to disarm them all? Why is he dragging his feet? The truth is, Abbas cannot, and will not, go against an ideology far more vast than the his own local jurisdiction.
Abbas has not fulfilled even one demand, yet he insisted, oddly with the backing of the Bush Administration, that Israel follow through on releasing 900 Palestinian prisoners, most of whom were incarcerated because of terrorist activity against Israel. Then Abbas offered positions within the Palestinian security forces to most of those released. Oh, and these have been provided with small arms by Israel, to “strengthen” the Palestinians! Have the western nations recognized the fallacy and danger? Frightening!! These are avowed murderers, or would-be shahids, many of whom
already have blood on their hands, or were intercepted on a mission to blow-up Israelis along with themselves, or were harbouring weapons for the same purpose. How ‘comforting’ to know they are now security personnel!
Hamas has indicated, only two days ago, they will not disarm, but as soon as the Disengagement from Gaza by the Israelis takes place, will step-up their attacks in order to secure Jerusalem and the West Bank for the Palestinians. Abbas also has upped the demand of more land, by insisting another community close to Ashkelon, which was not scheduled for withdrawal, be placed under Palestinian jurisdiction. Where, and when will it stop?
The “hand-writing is on the wall.” Those in the anti-disengagement camp are not simply trying to put a halt to the withdrawal by standing up for a few thousand Israelis who will be uprooted from their homes and lives. They recognize the fact that the situation is much more complex than that! The voices being raised against Israeli disengagement are, like Daniel, interpreting the “handwriting!” But, is anyone willing to recognize the warnings? If we do not heed, like the Babylonian
Empire, whose corrupt, hedonistic King failed to take the interpretation seriously, the Western world will fall into the hands of the enemy, even while we carry on with our own indulgent “party.”
Retreat in the wake of terrorism is not wise! President Bush stated so, and now Prime Minister Tony Blair, and all those attending the G-8 Summit stand in agreement. So, why is Israel being coerced into retreat from Gaza, which according to the
invitation of Abbas, is to become a headquarters for terrorist organizations once the withdrawal is complete?
If we desire to win the war against terror, we had better be consistent!
Abbas is meeting with the leaders of several terrorist organizations this week in Syria, to discuss strategy. His role is to hoodwink the West into believing he is desiring peace. He is for peace, for sure, but under his well-defined ideologic
definition, not our’s! The Palestinian State is only one step in the strategy, and his role is to make sure it comes into being, while weakening Israel and deceiving the West.
It is high time we woke-up and smelled the coffee! If we don’t, more 9/11’s, and Madrid and London-type attacks, are inevitable!

Someone in a position of political power must be willing to step up to the plate! If no one will, then the WEST which was WON in the last two World Wars, is in grave danger of being LOST to the war being waged by the global Islamic strategists!
