For many, cool schools are not the colleges with the best football team but the one that will get them on the fast track to their career. Many find their best choice for this is online learning. Online learning can mean getting a degree in less time than expected and moving on and up in a career. Plus, the number of high tech features such as instant messenger, chat and webcam makes online learning pretty cool too. One can now attend a virtual classroom with fellow students from around the world. This is an all new turn for the education industry and for technology.
One will find these cool schools offer associate’s bachelor’s and even master’s degrees in a vast array of subjects. Computer technology, health care, business and paralegal studies are just a few of many degree programs that can be studied online. Some programs even allow working professionals to update their certifications when necessary. For those individuals who do not have the time or wherewithal to take on the hassle of an onsite college, online learning is always a best option. An accredited curriculum and degree means graduates will have a qualification that is readily accepted by employers.

I just finished dinner and the segment was about to start so I went over to the TV.
The reporter was interviewing the 2 founders, they showed the company headquarters, and THEN they brought up something where I said BINGO.
Here’s what caught my attention.
For quite a few years I was going nowhere. I had all the ideas in the world, but never did anything with them.
I procrastinated (a ton).
Fear was holding me back.
I was scattered.
(This wasn’t a fun time in my life.)
But, THEN things began to change BECAUSE of this ONE SUCCESS Principle. And this is the same SUCCESS PRINCIPLE that has helped Google soar.
Paraphrasing 60 minutes (the TV Show) last night.
Google Founders:
“Everything we do we start in BETA (BETA means a test).
For all our projects, we just get it out there, get it going, where it’s at a ‘C’ level and then we get feedback on what people like, don’t like, and then we go from there.”
Here’s what Google was really saying and here’s the success principle that changed my life.
“YOU don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going.”
(Read this again.)
I used to wait until everything was perfect and fear stared at me and I didn’t move.
This was for many years.
But then I decided to JUST GET GOING.
Think about it this way.
In school, we get graded, A, B, C and D.
As a trader, investor or market maker, even when your trading ideas are at a ‘C’, you should still get it GOING!
Then, find out which trading strategy you like/dislike and improve it.
It sounds so simple, but most people have 10 pounds of cement holding their ideas hostage.
Successful entrepreneurs and traders get going!
It’s the only way to TRULY get wisdom and experience.
Ask yourself this question:
What have I been putting off, procrastinating about, that I can just get going today?
Are you currently trading the currency market but have yet to find a workable trading strategy?
Have you yet to even consider what this now in vogue market, the foreign exchange (FOREX) can do for your pocketbook?
THINK ABOUT THIS. What if you cud not only “get it going” but, thru 2 people who have *been-there-done-that*, could *get it right* almost immediately?
Thru Rapid Forex’s self-study manuals you can.

There is an increasing focus on weight loss in North America in the modern age, and the focus goes beyond mere looks. More and more studies are proving that being overweight not only looks unpleasant, but can also lead to some serious health issues, including high blood pressure, heart disease, and other factors which can lead to an early death.
Many obese people, however, face a serious problem when they begin to consider weight loss; they have become so overweight that their bodies simply cannot handle diets, nor can they summon the ability to partake in regular exercise. In most cases, the weight problem has become so critical that they do not really even have the time it takes to bring their weight down to a healthy level as they are in immediate danger of serious health consequences.
Lately, many people in this situation have begun to turn to the option of gastric bypass surgery. Over 150,000 gastric bypass procedures- wherein calorie intake is reduced by causing food to bypass parts of the stomach and the small intestine- were performed in 2005, many on the recommendation by a doctor for people who were considered morbidly obese.
One of the benefits of this procedure is that it is 100% effective when successful. Patients frequently state that they do not get hungry as often as they did before the surgery, nor does the hunger last as long. Patients also claim that they do not suffer the same cravings for unhealthy food that they did before the surgery. These effects are due to two factors. The first is the decreased size of the stomach- patients simply cannot hold food in the same capacity as they did previously. In addition, the smaller size means that the stomach is empty less than before the surgery and therefore does not signal the brain that food is needed.
The second reason for the decrease in appetite and cravings is the change in the hormonal balance that occurs after the surgery.
Gastric bypass is certainly beneficial in both time passed in regards to pounds lost and in the ease of the weight loss itself. However, there are also several risks involved when a patient elects to undergo the surgery.
Almost ten percent of patients who undergo the surgery report symptoms that could prove fatal some of the time. The surgery has been highly invasive in the past, with a large incision required form the upper chest to the navel. Any procedure involves risk, and the greater the cut the greater the risk. In addition, this large incision meant that a patient’s recovery time was greater, and also more painful.
Many of the risks of gastric bypass surgery are being eliminated with advancing research and procedures, such as the new laparoscopic bypass. Electing for this surgery will also entail a period of “dumping” time, in which a patient can expect to have recurring nausea, diarrhea, and an intolerance to sweets that may last for the rest of their lives.
The greatest risk in undergoing the gastric bypass surgery is the same as any surgery, especially those that are gaining popular attention; the risk of undereducated operators. Some studies have shown that the risk of death after gastric bypass is much higher in patients who go to surgeons with less experience in and knowledge of the procedure. The popularity of the procedure means that there are more doctors trying to make a quick dollar off of a limited knowledge, so any patient considering the surgery needs to be aware of their surgeon’s credentials and background.

How quickly can your fretting hand switch from one chord to another? The speed and confidence you have in making chord changes is key to mastering the guitar and successfully playing the instrument.
The key to learning any instrument, like most intricate human activity, is to develop brain and muscle coordination, more commonly called, muscle memory needed to play the instrument. If you picture a basketball player, for instance, the key to a good shooting performance is the proper hand-to-eye coordination in order to bring the ball up, prepare, aim, and throw it towards the hoop. The different muscles of the arms, wrist and hands will learn the right movements and strength needed to score. Constant practice will condition the brain, eyes, and entire body to know the routine of shooting the ball.
This is similar to guitar playing. The muscles involved would be the arms, wrists and the fingers, with the eyes, ears and brain working in unison to relate the movements to the music being read and the notes produced by the guitar. This is the mechanism that works when a guitar player starts to change chords.
Luckily, there are simple techniques that can help the beginning guitar player to develop these muscle memories and ear training for proper chord changes. Read below and you will see that chord changes are not that difficult to do.
When changing chords, first memorize all the chords involved in the song, and then visualize exactly which fingers of the fretting hand are involved in playing the chords. When playing simple barre chords, the most important finger is the index finger, which will squeeze all 6 strings across the fretboard. So as you move towards playing the chord, you have to position the index finger across the proper fret, or place, along the fretboard before positioning the other fingers of the chord. When playing a broken or simple chord, it is usually the index finger that is the most important finger. Primarily, the index finger and the thumb will form a stable anchor on the guitar neck in order for the other fingers to press the other strings of the chord. The index finger is usually played on the lowest fret and the highest string (by pitch, or string 1), where it could more easily find the proper note, and the other fingers can follow to complete the chord.
When playing a particular song, keep time with the music, but anticipate in which bar and on which beat the next chord will continue. For beginners, it would be preferable to practice the entire song slowly from beginning to end, taking care to change to each chord on time and on tempo. When the student can play the entire song like this without chord errors, he can start increasing the speed to the song’s proper tempo. It would also be helpful to identify particularly tricky chord changes. For instance, 2 consecutive bar graphs would be a relatively simple change, because the guitar player needs only to slide his index finger (which is already in the barre position) to its proper position on the fretboard and quickly press in the other strings of the chord. Changes from simple chords to barre chords - and vice versa - and chords that are positioned at a far distance from each other along the length of the neck are more difficult to perform. Isolate these difficult changes and practice those chord changes.
If it is still to difficult with the slow tempo, don’t play the last beat of the last chord and use the time to move your fret hand into position for the next fret. Keep practicing these changes until the short passage can be played without error. Afterwards, go back to playing the entire song as discussed above. When you can play an entire song properly, try different strumming styles to accentuate parts of the song, or a particular beat; or alternate strumming and light plucking to give volume and variety to the music of the song. First, it is best to complete the song by actually copying how the original artist played it on the guitar; then you can add your own twists and extra technique according to your ear and taste. This will help you develop your hands for more difficult chords and finger playing techniques.
Do this for every song, and before you know it, you’ll be playing a new song like a seasoned guitarist in a short period of time.

With the new craze for interior decorating inspired by “home makeover” television programs, more and more people are tempted to hire a professional decorator, even if they can’t afford one.
Simplicity: the Art of Home Decorating
If you’re thinking about breaking the bank for the sake of a beautiful room, think again. You don’t have to spend as much as an oil tycoon to have a home every bit as beautiful. Here’s why:
A pair of human eyes can only take in so much, no matter how much is put before them.
The secret is not to aim for beauty that comes from opulence, but for a simple beauty. And simple beauty is usually less expensive.
The best way to go for simple beauty in interior design is to make the focus of a room a single well-chosen decorative element.
Art Prints: Simple Home D©cor Focus
But what single beautiful element could you actually afford?
Unless you happen to get really, really lucky at a crafts fair or estate sale, there’s only one sure way to buy high taste on a low budget. Not original paintings or expensive wallpaper. Just a well-chosen print of a painting or photograph that reflects your style and taste and matches your room.
Surprised at such a simple answer to the decorating conundrum? Perhaps, like most people, you do not understand what art prints really are.
What Art Prints Are Not
Art prints are not posters.
Posters are made using paper stock similar to what magazines use. Art prints are made using special heavier print stock especially for prints.
Posters often play rather loose with the original image, cropping it, resizing it, adding text, or even changing shading. Prints will typically come much closer to the original, and will rarely crop the original image or alter its appearance significantly.
Posters are vastly less durable than art prints. You can expect a high-quality print to last decades without showing signs of age.
Art prints are not reproductions (though they are close).
Reproductions of a work of art, usually a painting, involve using exactly or nearly exactly the same brush strokes and materials, which is why they are so expensive. Prints, meanwhile, reproduce the look of the artwork without reproducing every detail of it. For instance, even though many prints of paintings use textured surfaces or even artificial brush strokes, the exact brush strokes of the original are not copied.
Reproductions also have to be conserved as carefully as original paintings in most cases, or they will fade. High-quality prints are given protection against fading, either in the form of a coating to the surface, or a Plexiglas case.
Reproductions, being paintings, are not very durable, and must be treated with special care. Prints, though not indestructible, are more likely to survive accidents. Some prints can even be washed with glass cleaner.
Of course, no art print will be a good anchor for a room’s d©cor if it’s not well chosen. Unfortunately, many people either don’t have any particular tastes when it comes to art or d©cor, or else do not trust their own taste. Luckily, the internet puts the accumulated knowledge of thousands of decorators, artists, and art experts at your disposal. Thanks to the internet, your home can look as good as the ones on TV.

Although I started using online sportsbooks almost ten years ago, I still maintained contact with a couple of local books for the express purpose of getting better lines with regard to the local or favorite teams of choice in my neck of the woods, the reasoning of course was so that if I saw “Value” in going against the the local or favorite teams of choice then what better place to get the best line when going against them then in their home area?
However, a not so funny thing happened when one of the locals that I was using got crushed one week three years ago and skipped town and in doing so stiffed me for $1200, since that point in time I have wagered strictly online!
I have always held the believe that if you want the beat deal available then it would be foolhardy to purchase the first car that you see at the first dealership that you visit, that very same line of logical thinking should be applied to “Sports investment” and of course is the very reason why I personally use four different “outs” as a means of gaining as much of an edge as possible with regard to finding the best line on games that I am wagering on, sometimes a half of a point here or a half of a point there can make all the difference in a winning week versus a break even or losing week.
It never ceases to amaze me for example how some people will be totally misers with regard to insisting that any light on in a room with no one in it is a capital crime, these same individuals always seem to be the ones not willing to take the wife and kids to a movie or out to a restaurant for lunch or dinner because they may have to fork over a few dollars on something they consider unwarranted and wasteful.
However, these same individuals find nothing wrong with shacking up in a tavern all Saturday or Sunday afternoon with the boys watching the games and betting with the local bookies, don’t get me wrong as I like to stop for a beer or two myself now and then, but why do I make this comparison you ask?
Simple my friend, if someone as I described above was truly cost conscious and on a quest of sorts for savings and “Value”, why then would anyone in their right mind make sports wagers strictly with local bookies? Aren’t these local guys the ones who make you wait until the morning of the game to get their lines? Aren’t these the same guys that you have to track down and fight busy signals to reach on the ole telly phone?
What real “Value” can be had from a local book that basically shoves his/her line in your face and figuratively speaking says “take it or leave it pal”?
Hometown gamblers using strictly local bookies are missing out on more than just the convenience of being able to place a wager on an upcoming NFL or College football game days in advance, these hometown gamblers using strictly local books are also missing out on their fair share of “Moola”—-”Black gold”—-”Texas Tea”….No I am not going to start singing about Jed Clampett here but instead about the sign up bonus’s offered by online sportsbooks.
Think about it a second, let’s say that you have a $5000 starting bankroll that is dedicated to nothing but sports investing, you could deposit the whole $5000 with one sportsbook and get as much as a 20% sign up bonus for doing so, which means that you would now have a starting bankroll of $6000…that’s your $5000 plus the $1000 sign up bonus, right?
WRONG!! Most sportsbooks in fact have limits on the total sign up bonus for an individual that ranges anywhere from $200 to $500, if that is the case then why not divide up your initial $5000 starting bankroll four ways between four different sportsbooks and possibly get a 20% sign up bonus from each sportsbook?
$5000 divided four ways would mean that if you were to deposit $1250 at each sportsbook and got a 20% signup bonus with each one, your starting bankroll with each of your four sportsbooks would then be $1250 plus a $250 sign up bonus for a total of $1500.
Thus $1500 X 4 means that you now have a $6000 starting bankroll, ( that’s your $5000 plus the $1000 in total sign up bonus’s ), and your money is now evenly spread out over four different sportsbooks which now allows you to “Line shop”.
As you now see, by depositing your entire bankroll with one sportsbook you could actually cost yourself some dinero in lost sign up bonus money, an added benefit of spreading your starting bankroll over three or four different sportsbooks is derived from the fact that sportbooks require you to “Roll over” the amount in your account so many times prior to being able to withdrawl funds.
For example, if the sportsbook that you are using has a five (5) time rollover rule in effect and your initial deposit was $1000.00, you would have received $200 with your initial deposit for a total of $1200 if the sign up bonus was 20%.
You would now need to wager a total of $6000 or ( $1000 + $200 ) X 5 in total bets placed before you are entitled to keep the initial sign up bonus and make a withdrawl of your funds, I would however advise you to be careful and to do your homework before depositing any funds anywhere as there are probably just as many “Fly by night” operations out there as there are legitimate and reputable ones.
Ask questions of others that you know who may have used the different sportsbooks and hear what they have to say, troll thru the various forums and posting boards and post messages that ask the opinions and experiences of others.
The main over riding factor to the equation is that you want to have the ability to “Line shop” for the best possible odds with as many reputable sources as possible.

Those wonderful green lawns many homeowners care about so much can be made much more healthy if we put them on a diet. Overfeeding causes as many problems with lawns as it does with people. Fat lawns are not healthy lawns. Rather than go on about this problem, let me simply tell you about the research at the University of Guelph.
Researcher Christopher Hallfound there was a way to promote health in the lawn by the frequency of the fertilizer application and the amount of fertilizer applied. According the Hall, fertilizer for lawns should be applied three times per year. One quarter of the fertilizer being applied should be applied in early summer, (not early spring) when the ground warms up and the grass is beginning to really grow. Another quarter is applied in late summer, around the middle of August when the fall rains are promoting growth, and the last half of the fertilizer is applied at the end of November to fatten up the roots for winter survival. This application rate was found to create a much denser turf than applications at other times all species and cultivars of grass.
It was particularly effective on perennial rye grass and tall fescues.
The next question is how much food does the lawn need? Chris Hall at Guelph found that the turf did better if only 2 pounds of Nitrogen per 1000 square feet was used over the whole season. From the above paragraph, it can be seen that 1/4 pound is applied in early summer, 1/4 pound in late summer and 1 full pound in late November for the healthiest, thickest lawn.
Overfeeding produces thatch and weakened grass that is susceptible to pests and disease. It is also more costly. So, put your lawn on a diet for a better lawn.

It seems almost inevitable that if you’ve been on the roads for anytime, that you’ll find yourself with a speeding ticket.
It’s never pleasant to be pulled over by a police officer and to have to hand over your driver’s license and insurance so that he can write you up a ticket that’s not only going to cost you some money but a piece of your pride as well.
Regardless of how we choose to look at it, speeding is breaking the law. For some drivers it’s a law that they break over and over again.
However there are a large percentage of people that go years without a speeding ticket. For that group there is something they can be doing when they are stopped for speeding for the first time.
Each and every time a police officer pulls a motorist over for speeding the person’s identification is checked in the computer.
There are numerous reasons this is done, but the reason that speeding motorist needs to be concerned with is how many tickets they have gotten for exceeding the posted limit in the past.
This can be a crucial factor in whether the police officer writes you a ticket or just gives you a warning.
Depending on how fast you were going if this is your first infraction, the police officer might be inclined to just give you a warning.
Often, that warning can have enough impact on the motorist that they will heed the advice and not speed again. No one wants to take the money that they worked hard to earn and have to hand it over because of a mistake.
Many policemen and women realize this and that’s why if you’ve been driving for years and have never been ticketed, explaining the merits of driving within the limit is the only punishment they will feel that you need.
Another factor that weighs heavily in the officer’s decision on whether to write up the ticket is your demeanor and attitude.
If you don’t take the situation seriously, the officer may feel inclined to go ahead with the citation because he or she doesn’t feel as though you’ve learned your lesson.
Feeling that pinch in your pocketbook when you write the check to pay for the fine or hand over the cash to a clerk has much more impact on someone who doesn’t understand the seriousness of speeding.
Therefore it’s important for you to show the officer respect, keep your composure and not admit to the speeding. In this case, the police officer sees that you’re not finding it funny to be stopped, that you realize that you have broken the law and that you understand the impact that it has on both your driving record and your insurance premiums.
If you are pulled over for the first time, remain calm and listen carefully to the police officer. If he or she does decide to give you a warning, pay close attention to what they are saying.
They are never obligated to give a warning as opposed to a ticket for first time offenders, but if you handle the situation correctly, you might save yourself a few dollars while at the same time take that warning to heart.

Did it seem like as the Fourth of July fireworks went up, your traffic went down? Or perhaps you are dreading your visitors taking a vacation and leaving your site home alone this summer? If this is you, then I advise taking some time out to learn a bit of Judo.
Judo and the art of website management
Judo? What on earth is the connection between seasonal traffic problems and Judo? Well let me explain a little about Judo and it might start to make more sense.
Judo is an interesting form of combat, because Judo techniques don’t rely on outright strength or size. Instead, the participants use suppleness and flexibility of response (ju means “flexible” in Japanese) to turn their opponent’s apparent advantages against them. In Judo, you don’t actively resist an opponent’s move. Instead, a Judo player uses the momentum generated by his opponent’s attack to bring him down.
Are you beginning to see the connection? If your visitor numbers or conversions nosedive at certain times of the year, don’t fight it - use it to your advantage. This is how you can manage your online business Judo-style.
But how does this work in practice? Well, when fewer visitors and customers mean you have more time available, you can…
1. Overhaul your site
Have you been too busy dealing with orders and enquiries to give your site that much-needed makeover? Take advantage of the extra time to implement all those great content, navigation and conversion-improving ideas you are too busy to even think about during the rest of the year.
2. Add to your product line-up
This is a great opportunity to add both new tangible products, and extra downloadable ones as well. If you have nothing else to do, a few relatively undisturbed days will give you more than enough time to put together a new ebook on your area of expertise.
3. Build links and credibility
Articles (like this one) are a great way to generate both links and credibility. Any extra time a traffic lull gives you can be used very effectively in writing and posting informative articles. As they are picked up and start appearing across the Internet, your both your inbound links and credibility shoot up.
4. Create new partnerships
Your busy schedule may not allow you much time to do your own browsing, so take advantage of this slow traffic days to get out and look around a bit yourself. Are there any potential partners out there who you could work with to your mutual benefit? A new joint venture can potentially be worth hundreds of additional customers, so this time of browsing and exploring new possibilities has a huge potential payback.
5. Save your advertising bucks
You’re keeping track of your conversions as well as your visitor stats, right? Well, if you notice a drop-off around weekends, holidays or other vacation times then, whatever you do, don’t use paid advertising to make up the shortfall. If your search engine-generated free visitors aren’t in the mood to buy, visitors coming through paid advertising probably won’t either. Instead, save your money and use it at those times your historical data tell you give the best bang for your buck.
6. Have a summer sale and get rid of old stock
Kill two birds with one stone: Clear out old inventory while simultaneously encouraging those visitors you do have to spend money with you. Make sure you email all your previous customers about the summer deals too, and you may find you get a stampede of repeat visitors cleaning out your store.
7. Christmas is coming
You may not be able to hear those sleigh-bells just quite yet, but in retail terms, Christmas is just round the corner. Have you thought about how you will get the most out of this year’s holiday season? Set your strategy now and ensure this year will see bumper sales.
8. Take a break yourself!
Come on, even following half of my suggestions is going to keep you very busy - even if you do have fewer visitors than usual. So, the final thing to remember is that you are your site’s biggest asset and, since you need a break sometime too, why not take it now?
If your visitors are packing up and going to the beach this summer, don’t panic: Learn a bit of Judo, and let “The Way of Flexibility” (the literal meaning of “Judo”) help you turn your summer blues into a bonanza of new opportunities.
